1.1 million steps closer to the Be Brave Ranch

After a $1.1 million donation toward the Be Brave Ranch, Little Warriors to name facility after LaBonte family

June 10, 2013, Edmonton, AB---At the annual Little Warriors Garden Party fundraiser, surrounded by close family and friends, Glori Meldrum, founder and chair of Little Warriors, announced that the LaBonte family has donated $1.1 million toward the Be Brave Ranch.

“You never know who your angels are going to be,” said Glori. “I am eternally grateful to the LaBonte family for its kindness, love and generosity, and have decided to name the ranch: The Be Brave Ranch by Ray LaBonte and Family. No words can express my gratitude, but I hope that’s a start.”

The Be Brave Ranch will be Canada’s first long-term treatment center for child victims of sexual abuse. Now, Little Warriors is one big step closer to fundraising enough for the facility.

Little Warriors is a national, charitable organization that educates adults about how to help prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. To donate, or for more information about Little Warriors or the Be Brave Ranch, please visit,
