Milestones and Successes - August 10, 2009
2100 adults have been educated to help break the cycle of child sexual abuse, helping to impact approximately 21,000 children. The Little Warriors website has received over 3.7 million hits.
One Year Anniversary - March 5, 2009
Little Warriors is proud to celebrate their one-year anniversary, as we embrace into a journey as to what has only just begun.
We all play a valuable role in the perseverance and critical level of insight into the achievement, success, issues and challenges that helps Little Warriors to deliver important initiatives to our community.
Little Warriors would like to thank and show appreciation by commending each and every financial/in-kind contributor, grantor, media supporter, friend, and volunteer. Every contribution, large or small, has allowed Little Warriors to pursue the vision of helping to protect our children.
Milestones and Successes
1250 adults have been educated to help break the cycle of child sexual abuse, helping to impact approximately 12,500 children.
Our community has helped littlewarriors.ca to acquire an International W3 Award for Best Visual Appeal. The Little Warriors website has reached over 2.5 million website hits accounting of 68,000 unique visits.
Be Brave dolls have reached the hands of children in our community helping to offer comfort in their journey to heal. This cute and cuddly character has also received an Image Award from the Promotional Products Professionals of Canada.

Little Warriors officially launched in Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, September 11, 2008. Stewards of Children Program Has Launched!
Little Warriors is proud to announce that it has been authorized as the only organization in Canada to teach the acclaimed Stewards of Children program. Stewards of Children is a child sexual abuse prevention training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The training program integrates the simple principles of choice, consciousness, and personal power to promote an understanding of the nature and impact of child sexual abuse, and uses those principles to provide a context for empowered action.

Official Launch of Little Warriors
Little Warriors marked its official launch with the debut of its public service marketing campaign on March 5, 2008. Friends, supporters and local media were invited to attend the event.
The response in the days and weeks following the launch has been phenomenal. People from a number of organizations and all walks of life throughout Canada have contacted Little Warriors to inquire on how to register, volunteer, donate and become involved.
Little Warriors Has a New Office
Little Warriors now has a permanent home. The beautiful new office is now open at
Suite 203, 10637 – 124 Street.
With the generosity of many donors, the office has been equipped with a dedicated training facility for the Stewards of Children program. Thank you to all the friends of Little Warriors who helped to paint and set up the office. A special thanks to Toni Adamkewicz for donating her interior design services, and Nina Perttola and the Dan Knott Junior High Art Club for painting the Be Brave mural.
