HEALING IS A JOURNEY, AND YOU DON’T HAVE TO WALK IT ALONE.

Be Brave Bridge connects children, teens, and families with trauma-informed support and online programs designed for recovery and resilience.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Be Brave Bridge programs offer specialized, trauma-informed support to children, teens, and caregivers impacted by child sexual abuse. Through secure online learning and guided support, we provide accessible pathways to healing, understanding, and resilience—no matter where families live.

Our programs combine evidence-based educational content with personalized coaching support (within the Intensive program) to meet participants where they are. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who can participate?

Be Brave Bridge Intensive Online Programs:
Available to children and adolescents impacted by trauma, and to parents/caregivers who support them. Adults who aren’t parents but want trauma education (e.g., educators, service providers) can also benefit from the parent/caregiver program.

Bridge Community Programs:
Designed for children 8–12 yrs and adolescents 12–17 yrs (with caregivers where appropriate). These are aimed at broad topics like boundaries, self-care, relationships, internet safety, and more. Individual youths can work through them independently—or facilitators (like teachers or counsellors) can deliver them to a group.

Do I need to live near the program?

No. Both the Be Brave Bridge Intensive and the Bridge Community programs are accessible online from anywhere in Canada (or beyond). You complete modules and connect with coaches over a secure platform — no travel required.

Is it safe to participate online?

Yes. The online platform used (called IRIS for the Bridge Intensive) offers secure, encrypted access. Coaches are trained clinicians or clinical team members who support participants respectfully and safely. There are confidentiality and safety policies built into the program, and coaches can guide participants toward more support if needed.

Do you offer financial aid?

For the Be Brave Bridge Intensive Online Programs, there is no out-of-pocket cost to families — the programs are offered free of charge as part of Little Warriors’ mission to increase access to support. If families can support Little Warriors financially, donations are encouraged to help sustain this work.

For the Bridge Community Programs, the online modules are also offered at no cost thanks to funding partners and supporters.

What happens after the program?

Be Brave Bridge Intensive:
Once you complete the program, you receive a certificate of completion.

Bridge Community Programs:
Since these are self-paced learning experiences, you can continue using the content and tools as long as the modules are available. Facilitators can also revisit topics with groups over time.
