What a Way to Celebrate 10 Years!

We are still riding the high from our 10th Annual Golf Tournament at The Quarry, and wow, did we pick the perfect day for it. Sunshine, blue skies, and a course full of golfers ready to swing for the kids, it honestly doesn't get better than that. There's something about a day like this that reminds us why we do what we do: because when this community shows up, it shows up big.

Together, we raised $205,000 for the children and families, we serve. Ten years in, and this community still finds a way to outdo itself every single time. That kind of generosity doesn't just fund programs, it changes lives, and September 2nd was proof that Little Warriors' circle of support keeps growing stronger with every passing year.

This milestone year had a little bit of everything, and honestly, the fun never stopped. Between holes, golfers were shooting nerf guns, testing their aim at axe throwing, and humbling themselves at marshmallow putting (turns out a marshmallow does not roll like a golf ball, who knew). On-course tacos kept everyone fueled and happy, and the tournament's favourite, the golf ball air cannon is always, an absolute crowd-pleaser. It's these little moments of joy and laughter scattered across the course that make our tournament feel less like an event and more like a reunion.

And what a reunion it was. What made this year extra special was seeing golfers who've been with us since day one out there alongside brand-new faces who joined the tournament for the very first time. Ten years of friendships, fairways, and fundraising, all wrapped into one incredible day. Watching longtime supporters' welcome newcomers into the fold, swapping stories about tournaments past while making new memories, really drove home just how far this tradition has come.

None of this happens without an incredible group of people behind it, and we want to take a moment to properly thank them. To our sponsors, whose generosity has powered this tournament for a decade running, thank you for believing in this cause year after year. To The Quarry, for once again being the perfect host for our Little Warriors crew and helping us create a course experience our golfers look forward to all year. To every golfer who came out to play, new and long-time alike, thank you for spending your day with us and for every dollar you helped raise along the way. To our tireless volunteers and staff, who worked behind the scenes to make the entire day run without a hitch, we see everything you do and we are endlessly grateful.
